So after the fun of 1's where is your score at now?
I am 7.26 with 95 votes, which could be a yellow, however with everyone else seemingly higher I wondered how it was going.

Which challenge is this Jon? I missed all the 'fun' yesterday (though as I was out drinking eating and seeing shows all day I rather think I may have had the better of it.
Your 7 is certainly not under threat from me though, in any challenge :-)

In Out of Place, I got a nice "jump" from 5.88 to 6.65. Very nice.

Free study:
went from 4.678 / 84 votes to 5.7586 / 87 votes overnight.
pretty good for me, although I hope to do better in this one, I feel I have a good entry.
Only one comment so far, pity, I would like some feedback on this one. |

Well, I am glad to see everyone else is doing so well.... I was so proud of MFS, and well now... even with fixed scores I am sitting at a horrible 5.6. I expected to do much better.... With so many great entries... I am doomed!

Up from 4.8 yesterday to 6.1 today. Not good enough for a ribbon, but it's better than nothing.

You are not alone...mine was some experimental work that came out pretty interesting, though not "gallery" stuff. Sitting at around 5.7 now.
What you have is a pretty good score--really the score is meaningless anyway; my measure of success here is when I end up above the 60% percentile. But there are some superb photos in this challenge, I've only scored 2/3 of them myself so far, and I think it will be tough even being in the top 50% with a score under 6.
That is, unless Langdon revives his score-o-lower-meter from yesterday ;)

jonpink - i wish i could say that "i just give up on a picture with a 5.4!" must be nice!!! 5.4 is one of my highest scores. :)
my free study entry jumped up more than any other picture i have ever submitted. last time i looked at it yesterday it was at 4.5 - today it is up to 5.4318. still with only 3 comments though. i really want to see more comments on my pictures - score is what i look at last, comments first. but i feel a little better. i think my free study entry is technically one of the best photos i have entered. so i really thought that it didn't warrant a 4.5! |

I am getting very few comments this round...must mean my pic is very average and cannot be improved, and irritates no one.

Based upon what others here are reporting for their scores, I will be well down in the pack. An improvement over Orange, but anything would have been an improvement over that dog!

I don't have an "out of place" entry, and I have hardly scored any of them yet, but from what I've been reading, you will be much higher up in the pack than you expect. Some of the scores below (and mine) are free study scores. |

My lowest of the (few) challenges entered. However, though there were a few outstanding entries the total number was relatively low. So I wonder what the topmost score will be and where I will come in the percentile list?
Heh ho! Now to go and and look at wheels. ~ now just where in the garage is that old bicycle.......
