Isn't that like asking, "what's the best vehicle"? If there were a "best", there wouldn't be a zillion choices. With all sort of variation in speed / low-light capable, wide vs. long, prime vs. zoom, macro capabilities, build quality, image stabilization, etc, you can imagine that different photographers (wedding vs sports vs landscape) have different needs. So these is no "best" per se.
Unless I misunderstood the question. =)
ETA: You could describe your specific interests/needs, or do more reading. Option's link looks quite good as well.

yeah this is far too open ended.
What are you going to be doing with it? is money no object? if thats the case, then... Sigma 10-20mm, nikkor 17-55mm, nikkor 70-200mm 2.8. nikkor 300, 400, & 600, Nikon 1.4 tc, 60mm 2.8 macro (cause i own it and its nice). i think that should do it. |
