| And Yankee Stadium goes next year or something ... I think that will leave only Fenway Park and Wrigley Field as examples of "old-time" baseball parks. :-( |

i remember going to that stadium when i was seven years old. i thought it was amazing that one of the mens room didnt have urinals like a normal mens room, but just a long troff with water running through it.
sad day. |

| I saw pictures on the news of them tearing the park down and it made me want to cry. The history in that park is incredible. Just think of all the stars that have played there. Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth etc. |

| I'll be taking a drive downtown to take pics this weekend ... sad day to see a hole punched in the side of it ... I practically grew up at Tiger Stadium ... |

I have people in Chicago.
They have heard grumblings of tearing down Wrigley for a new and improved stadium.

| Wish I could get back up there before it is razed. So many memories from the bleachers. |

| yeah, I don't think wrigley will be there much longer--they'll probably keep the facade. |

Hey Pam, do post some pics, I'd like to see them. Make sure you put a warning on them that the shots could tear the viewers heart out. Especially if they're tiger fans! |

| I would love to see some pics if anyone gets them...went across the river from Windsor often...enjoyed the experience. I agree...sad day. |
