Somewhat disappointed - I had thought this on of my stronger Free Study entries of the year. Suspect I must be too close to the photo and seeing what I want to see rather than what everyone else is seeing! Ah well.

But the question is - are you still pleased with the photo? Does it meet your own criteria? Is it suffering, perhaps, from lack of FS "wow" factor? Is it quiet and subtle and really quite lovely if you take more than two seconds to look at it? :-) |

It's rare that I bemoan my score (I complain about plenty of other things for sure), but I sure thought I had one of my better entries for this month's Free Study - even thought a low 7 was even a possibility. May have to turn scores off to get through this one. :-/

I was really excited with my entry since I was having some good shots in this month. I was a little bit confused also about which to enter in the contest.But as always my all excitement came down to earth after receiving few votes. May be I was too ambitious for the shot.When I will learn about not expecting too much from the entry in the contest?

i'm quite disappointed with photos in free study , large number of snapshots and only few creative ones ... and more than dozen reshoots of already seen locations which are executed very nice ... but you know ... , okay my photo is also a snapshot totally non-creative but i just want to say that my expectations were much higher.
i'm @ 5.61
