| I squeaked in at the last minute but took a series today that I loved. Probably won't do that great considering the subject but I am pleased and proud to enter it. If I'm over 6.0, I'll be pleased. :~) |

Same here. I need a 6.8457. That setup studio type shot ('Stepping') at the tail end REALLY needs to go. It's so not my normal style. I think I have a fair chance of replacing it this month. |
Lucky you...I have to hit way up in the 7's to change my row of images....ugh!

| Technically mine is fine, but I'm not so sure how the subject matter will go over with the voters. I'm predicting anything from 5.9 to 6.9. If it scores in the low 6 range I'll be happy. |

I'm in - but oh my gawd. I got something in my left eye as I was doing the famous last minute edit. It must have been a lash or a cat hair, but it hurt like hell and I couldn't get it out. Eye drops and flushing didn't work, and I couldn't really see what I was doing in photoshop...
Just now, after another round of flushing with water and pouring in eye drops, it went away. However I had already submitted my one-eyed wonder image - so we'll see. I'm done with it now.
I'm hoping for anything over the dreaded 5.9. |

I entered to prevent my "0", :P If I made a 5.9 I'd be shocked and scared and thrilled. I like it so I know it will suk!!! I want something new on my front page so give me all 10's, peeps! (rolls her eyes, lol)

Alicia, I hope your eye is better. My worst entry ever was done while physically incapacitated! ;-)
Ken, I feel like you do. I like my photo, and it had some good technical qualities, but whether it will appeal to anyone else is another matter! Plus I felt like I had a good shot to start with, but I had a hard time choosing how to crop it and how much PP to use. I ended up with so many versions that I went back to the most basic. Now with four minutes to go... ah, well, more grist for the learning mill.
PS: It would be terrific to finally break 6.00. Be kind, voters! :-D

| I haven't had time to really enter for the last year, so June 07 was last entry for me, so not expecting too much out of this one. Plus I worked on the macbook, so not 100% sure how much different it will look to anyone else lol. I'll have to peek tomorrow from a CRT |

Started at 5.8 down to 4.8, which sucks for reasons I cannot discuss, all I can say is some people will judge it unfairly because of not knowing something about the shot lol...

The troll factor must be high tonight. It's a photo that I like, but not something that would "Wow" the DPC voters. I hope that this one will at least get a 5, but it isn't there yet.
