Hey Guys,

So i've been away for a while and i have no idea what the rules about editing are anymore. If i have a photo can i take elements from that photo and use them in other parts? For instance if i took a photo of a city skyline and wanted to move one of the buildings to a different spot can i do that within the advanced editing rule set?

Thanks
Dan

Simple answer, no. That would be classed as moving a feature of the image, which has never been permitted.

The rules are very clear on this point. Advanced Rules

You may not:

-combine captures of different scenes, move or change a feature between frames, or combine different captures to create a new scene

-use ANY editing tool to move, remove or duplicate any element of your photograph that would change a typical viewer’s description of the photograph (aside from color or crop), even if the tool is otherwise legal, and regardless of whether you intended the change when the photograph was taken.

What you are proposing to do is NOT allowed in Advanced

Haha thanks. Wasn't sure if the rules had changed that much or not....ruins my idea for the green challenge though.
