Can anyone help me ?
I have recently bought the new Canon EOS 40 D.
My problem is that with PHOTOSHOP CS2, I cannot open the RAW pictures. Do I have to buy the new CS3 or is there a way around it ? Many thanks for the help.
Best DPC regards

Try the software that came with the camera. Digital Professional Pro (DPP) is darn good.
Also, check over at Adobe and see if they have updates for CS2. I got CS3 and had to install an upgrade before I could get Camera Raw to work. |

Unfortuantly the Version of ACR that supports the 40D does not support CS2. CS3 or lightroom will be compatable or there is a workaround that allows you to convert the raw files to DNG which will work with your version of CS2. Here is the link to ACR |

The latest version of ACR that is compatible with CS2 is version 3.7. Unfortunately, 3.7 does not support the Canon 40D.
