I came across something that I thought would be of interest to members. I don't know if this has been posted before to this site, but the Brooklyn Museum is currently running a crowd curated photo exhibition.

1. The public is allowed to submit photos via the Brooklyn Museum website (submission period closed).
2. The public votes on the submissions.
3. The juried results are exhibited on the website.

Open Call (March 1–March 31, 2008)
Evaluation (April 1–May 26, 2008)
Exhibition (June 27–August 10, 2008)
