Picked up a Canon EF 500mm f4.5 L USM and a x1.4 mkII telecon
Geez its big, though not as big as those 600's

I have to say on first outing I'm very impressed with the quality of images and the price is 50% of the newer super-long lenses

Offically jealous..

I would love a super long prime at some point in my life.. ideally one of those dirty great big 500 f4s.. But at thirty squillion pounds it is slightly out of my budget.
