Hmm, I think last week's weigh-in was a bit flukey. I seem to be back on track now, but I don't know if I'll be able to make up the two pounds I'm behind now. It's all good though.

Umm.....

No comments like that!

How much have you lost to date?????

What's your percentage of your goal lost????

It gets harder to lose weight in larger increments and/or fast once the initial drop is done.

You're making forward progress.....it's ALL good!

Congrats!

Very stressful week

Quote to add:
I'm not going to let this weeks gain get me down, after all I have lost 21.2 lbs this year. I think the stress I have been under this week may have contributed to my lack of dedication and weight loss. Don't the body release a hormone called cortisol when under stress? I have read that over production of cortisol produced by the body can cause weight gain. I don't know but I'm going to try to put up a total of -6.0 lbs by the next weigh-in. That means I need to loose 2.8 lbs this week. I can do it!

Like last week, up a little from mid week on weigh in day...but down 0.5 lbs from last Friday. Talk about slow ;)

urrrk I have put on 3 pounds, but most of that is from not walking this week. Finally got xrays and MRI done on my back and I am getting old. Degeneration of teh bones and a herniated disk. See I told you my back hurt LOL

Ohhhh... I feel for you. I hope they are able to do something to relieve the pain. Hopefully something other than surgery.

well stuffing myself full of vicodin helps somewhat. the full report comes in today, so will have to see.

I did that for 4-months with my neck. I don't want to have to go through taking vicodin 2x daily for 4 months again even though I know I need it for pain.

Scott, are you still doing that chart? I'm not finding it.
05/23/2008 10:30:45 AM · #189
yeah it sucks, i am on abut 2-3000 mg a day, and it barely touches teh sides of the pain. Oh well, I am sure it will get better!

You're too young to be getting old. I'm not even old yet.

Last week: 137.4
This week: 136.2
Lost: 1.2

yes, I finally lost something. I've been being a vegetarian (still having eggs and fish though) this week, I don't feel too much different than when I was eating meat though so I'm going back to at least poultry next week.

Minus 2 lbs for me this week!! It must have been hiking in the hot sun that did it this week. So I'm down 5 lbs all together.

Well I gained 1 pound this week....had family in from out of state....too many meals out with them.
I'll be working harder this week to lose that pound and more.

-4 total last week
-3 total this week

How do you folks know your weight down to the decimal? On my scales I'm lucky to be able to tell what it is to the pound. Do you have some sort of fancy-shmancy digital scales?

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. I don't have a fancy shmancy scale, because those cost 60+ dollars. I'm not going to spend that much money on something that tells me I'm a fat ass!

It's the miracle of the digital display.
