JPG Magazine...anyone published or a member?

I'm curious who might be active over there and how they've faired with the concept?

I am over there.

The magazines are nice and will probably subscribe once all my other mag subscriptions run out. Right now I am just getting too many. I like it because it is mostly images. Great for ideas and stuff. I have never been big on this camera or that camera and reading reviews and stuff about equipment. So this mag is a nice one IMO.

I haven't submitted anything yet, but the mag is really good with an emphasis on imagery rather than the gear.

You should submit.

I have a few up at the moment and they're doing pretty well...

The Fire Escape (Hell's Kitchen, NYC)

and

The Pitchman (Union Square Market)

There are some incredible shooters over there.

Excellent work man.

As for me, I need to get the rest of my life back into some semblance of order before I can pick up the camera with any real seriousness.

I couldn't figure out if you could submit more than one picture to each theme. Can you?

I'm not sure. I remember seeing something that said only one submission, but I don't remember the details.

One picture per theme BUT you can pull an image and enter it into any new theme at any time.

Looks like a pretty good site -- I just don't know if I have time to vote on more pictures.

I'm there...my page.

I also like it becaue it's about you and the camera and not the processing. They don't favor "pixel pushers" as they call them. I believe the heavier processing (saturation, D&B, HDR etc.)will be passed by the editors. It's not what they're into which suits my direction, these days.

General-I vote a bit but there are so many more images it's a daunting task. I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm hoping my Fire Escape shot gets into their "Hotness" folder.

Check out Jeremiah Ridgeway's Photo Story in issue 13.

Jill Coleman's work is beyond words. Kinda like Les Goodman on steroids.

Note to self: recruit Art Roflmao to whip up a PS version of Les on steroids.

I'm there, but not on a regular basis the way I am at DPC. I like the sense of community here at DPC.
