| Well, I'm back home and it's hubby's turn at the hospital with my daughter. They're sending a specialist to extract what they can of the infection using a needle, and they're going to test it to see what type of bacteria they're dealing with. After 3 courses of antibiotics, it's getting worse instead of better. They are talking about surgery, but there could be major complications with that. She'll be there at least 2 more days now. Thanks everyone for the good wishes! |

| I come asking for help from the top post processing peeps. I have photoshop elements 5. I have what I think is a good idea for portrait of a camera. What I would like is not someone to do the pp for me (which is not right), but for someone to walk me through the process so that I can learn a little more. I have what I have done so far, and the copy of the orginal. If anyone is up for this let me know pm or email me. As always you won't be able to vote, but if we do good enough you will have the bragging rights of you got me out of the 4 and low 5's. Also if you think the picture sucks do tell me and I'll start over from scratch. |

I might possibly have a new PB in Sun In Frame. It's going up and down so much, we'll see.

And the best news...I just got an email from PCPhoto magazine saying they are considering my photo, At The End Of The Day  , as a finalist in the Your Best Shot Photo Contest! They asked me to send in a high res. copy! Grand prize is:
› Winner’s choice of ONE of the following three prizes:
1. • Canon EOS 40D camera
2. • Nikon D300 camera
3. • $1,500 cash
I'm on cloud nine here even just to be considered!

I'm still there with ya somewhere, I don't think I'll get a personal best but I'm happy happy happy, especially since it's a photo I really like and thought would suck scorewise.
