i think its difficult to get a flat out rating of 1's or 2's ? maybe 3's and 4's..... :) :-D ? :) snoop around the photos and stuff its really fun checking out the past challenges! :) :-D |

My worst score ever as well
4.3740
I'm not sure why. Both comments have been saying what a great photo it is. I really have no way to judge what makes a good negative but I liked the look. |

...and I think that is why the scores seem to be all over the place. Not only was it a hard challenge to shoot for, but it's also a difficult one for voters to judge since there is not much these days to compare the entries to. I believe that some voters will be judging entries based on how much like a negative the shot looks like, some as to how visually appealing it is, and many of the normal criteria such as exposure are left more to personal judgement than with usual photos. This is going to make the scoring in this challenge very erratic. I think it will be very interesting to see the scoring spread across the range of 1 to 10. |

Sorry I asked. My score has dropped quite a bit. Seems odd. The pattern is different this time.

| Four point four eight something... nowhere near my lowest score - prolly a good idea to have one of those super low scores in one's arsenal for such an occasion as this which I look on as even more EXPERIMENTAL than any challenge so far. |

:) tonight at midnight more voting will occur- :) you'll get to see who shot which images and where you fell % wise ;) -- wish you some kicbutt-luck on getting more points/votes.... it is very interesting for certian!! :) remember tho that some really great shots can be overlooked easily in large challenges (or hard to vote on ones like this negative image challenge) an ddon't get discouraged if you see some 1's in the final breakdown of your score (even some of the front- pagers get 1's or 3's or 2's sometimes ;) :-D
I look forward more to 'comments' than anything else (ie: if people like my silly-or simple ideas; if they've sene it done before or if its something they think might be nice done a diffrent way/etc... ;) well...i'm off back to bed!! nitenite! :) --don't drive yourself crazy pressing that update button today ! *LOL* :) its the last day of voting for this challenge! :) you'll see a page come up around midnight that says calculating the score etc...and then it'll dissappear from your front bar-and if you go to your profile you'll see your 'score' and if you click on it you'll see all the info of where you fell among the other entries ;) :-D (also if you click on your image, then the little icon i discovered that you can see diffrent stats under a little paper-like icon... its really interesting! :) |

geez, my vote total didn't change but my score dropped 0.0207. Someone came through adjusting scores and dropped me by 3 points! ouch.
