It was done last year and wasnt that funny then.. The funniest bit was where they had to go back and re-comment on all the images, so it took them doubly long.

LOL! Someone is doing it again? Sigh... and I didn't even get a DNMC on my free study. I did get one or two on my Patterns entry - does that count?
Spoke too soon - just got mine, with a 1! Cool!

Perhaps Langdon has a script doing it. 500 entries, 1 comment per 2 minutes or so until they all have one. That way they can be easily undone tomorrow.
I wouldn't put it past him ;)

| Every year some genius has to think they have this brilliant idea to make a DNMC comment and give out ones. Well genius, it's and old trick and not even amusing anymore. |

It would be funnier to write a long comment going into how great an image is, actually the best ever, then at the end say
"but sadly this image does not meet challenge. so I give it a 1"
it would at least make it a bit more amusing and for those not in the know, the cruel dashing of ones raised hopes would be great..

Well if they leave it there, we will know who it was, as it is a hidden BAG comment and all will be revealed when rollover comes, and then we be able to give it to him or her, in some shape or form.
Maybe DPC should shut down completely on Aprils Fools Day every year.....
I like an Aprils fool joke when one can see and share the joke, like most people would, but this is just silly beyond words.....
I think I will turn my scores off and forget about it for a few days.....
