Hi folks!

I'd like to know your opinion on this crop please, and on cropping ears/chins/tops of heads in general. What's in your opinion is ok to crop, and what is going too far. I've read that cropping/framing that chops at the joints is a bit of a no-no.

If it isn't essential to the character of the subject ... crop it! :-)

On the cat, I view the pointy ears as essential their appearance. So in this case, I wouldn't crop the ears. But on people, I crop the tops of heads all the time.

Thanks David. I had that feeling - but wasn't quite sure why.
