//djantunez.co.uk/235.jpg

Canon 5D, Canon 17-40L

The info form the pics are under them, if you would like to visit the site of the photographer is Adam Burton
BTW the pic is by Adam Burton (am a fan of him love his work!)
Ok here is one i tried with my canon 5D with a 16-35

some detail
Collection: 5D
Camera: Canon EOS-5D
Lens: Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM II
Location: gillingham SE Coast.
Date: Mar 23, 2008
Aperture: 15
ISO: 100
Shutter: various
then taken to photoshop and worked all the 4 exposures and blended them together, then was saved as a jpg file and then when i uploaded it to here i lost all the color on the pic, from my raw conversion? (any idea of what happen? (maybe is just my pc is crazy and you getting a nice lively colors on it, and my slef a dead colors over all) just tried to upload it to another server to see if the error is from here could you follow: Low River Boats
but what i really want to know is how you can get those results as how Adam Burton, got them after taking them i know there is more photographers out there, i dont that to think that this is a high dinanic range done in photomatix pro, i wander so much to find out this ( ok i know there is Lee ND filters and so on i got those i just did't had time to use then with my cameras is i did had some stuff was missing)
if there is anyone who could give me some tips, or even to suggest some book that will somehow link myself to this idea that i cant take out of my head would be great!

Many Thanks already in advance!!
J Antunes

Color space, color profile? I think that this has been discussed before. Try a search on earlier threads using "color space".

I don't know Adam's workflow, but here's your small JPG converted to 16-bit tiff, tonemapped in Photomatix, and saved for web. NO PS adjustments whatsoever except converting file back and forth.

It's not that hard, really... You can accomplish most of this with shadow/highlight in photoshop also. My e-mail is on my profile if you want to get into a discussion.

If you don't have Photomatix or other dedicated HDR/Tone Mapping software, but have Photoshop, take a look at my tutorial on Tone Mapping.

I only have Photoshop Elements 5. Only spent a couple of minutes and came up with the following:

[thumb]661512[/thumb]

Copied original file from DPC. Levels, Burn at 5% with large brush all over image. Adjusted contrast. Little bit more burning the clouds only.

Whilst it doesn't match Bear Music's it's on the way to it.

Hi! I quite like the results you are showing me, but what I want to find out is how Adam Bruton did to get the results on his shots.

Thanks Joel
