I took a break from entering competitions, actually I let life get in the way, and hadn't entered a challenge since august of last year. So I enter the Design & Engineering challenge.

What's the first thing I remember, the update button. I forgot how addicting it was to check you score, look for comments and overall just see how your doing.

What's even funnier is the day after I entered, the next morning my wife and I got out of bed and the first thing I did was go to this site and click up date. I heard her mumbling "Ahh the insanity returns" we both laughed but deep down I knew she was right..

Ahh well we all have our fixes, Right?

At least this one is relatively harmless :)
Welcome back. I had taken time off too.. for the same reasons as you, and did the same thing "click click" LOL

Isn't that crazy though lol. I like the changes that were made to the editing rules and also think that the requirement of the final winning originals is an excellent idea.

Thanks Russell,

I love your signature, I remember that from way back when. Actually I have to be honest, I kinda adopted it on another fourm for programing and got alot of laughs over it. I always give credit to ya though. Actually what I say is "Sig wasnt my idea but came from a dpchallenger" but hey props to ya.

Thanx, but I guess can't really take credit either; I lifted it from a bathroom wall. Let's just say it's public domain...pun intended.

Cheers,

Owen
