Obama is a sharp dude, but he scares the crap out of me, he's got some crazy ideas, and his "church" supports Hamas (a terrorist group in Palestine)

TN... which wouldn't even vote for it's own former senator in 2000, as i recall..



The far left of TN is to the left; regretfully our vote never gets counted as the red (neck?hehe) side of the state brings the whole state to the right. The state needs to be split like Maine; after all geographically speaking Memphis to Knoxville is over a hundred miles longer than Boston to Philadelphia. Gore easily won Shelby County in 2000.

I think some can be trusted more than others, and some are more obviously biased than others. Fox News, for example, is pretty much a conservative mouthpiece. It's like the American version of Tass. Though some conservatives probably feel that The New York Times and the Washington Post are leftie rags, I believe they at least aim for balance. When they make a mistake they bend over backwards to repair the damage.

I fear all of our news sources are mouth pieces at this point. Everyone is being bought. Its industry at its finest. Funny thing is, I find our news HERE first. Even school shootings will show up there before the news sources in the US. Makes me wonder if the news we are fed has to be filtered first.

Not filtered, just spun in a certain way so as to sell more (papers, commercial space etc).

Hmm...I own a Canon Powershot A700 and went DSLR with a Nikon D40. I vote Green. Would vote for Rhino if hey were still around but they're gone, *sniff*...oh yeah I'm Cdn, eh?

Obama is probably the closest thing we have to hope...and he doesnt stand a chance.

haha...I think he has a great chance. He has a huge movement behind him...National Polls show him as ahead. Attracts minorities, independents...those who vote for Clinton will also vote Obama if he is the Candidate...Can't say the same is true for Hillary...I'd have an awefully hard time voting for her.

I agree on the Hillary thing...people need to remember that she allowed the insurance industry to buy her silence. Not to be trusted.

Also seems to do whatever she has to, even if democratic party is at stake. If her purpose is really to do what is best for the citizens of the US, she should watch what she says about her primary dem opponent.

Edit: looks like as of 6/20/08 I am wrong...however, lots can happen in 2 months...Clinton didn't drop out of the campaign...she only suspended it!

At the convention Hillery will get the superdels and win the nomination. This will happen because none of them will have enough deligates to win outright. The superdels will vote for the one who has the best chance to beat McCain.

Bookmark this and check back after the demo convention.

What about the delegate movement from Hillary's side to Obama's Side. He got 8 from her last weekend. Obama also gained 3% points on McCain and took a lead over him 49/47...

Obama still has 30 something days til Penn. and is only behid by 9 points...started out 20 points behind just like every other "big" state Hillary has managed to hold onto.

The fact that people actually think the Black Muslim movement in this country is in any way tied to the crazy suicide bombers in the Middle East makes me laugh. The fact that people think Obama is into the Muslim anything makes me laugh. Obama had a white grandmother and I would bet she was a sharp hip little lady in her day. Can you imagine an interracial marriage in a segregated society, where there used to be whites only this and blacks only that?

The people at Fox news should be tarred and feathered; I am amazed at how much spin people want to eat. The ONLY reason we are at war with Iraq is for oil. If we are such humanitarians that want to save people why aren't we in Darfur, Why didn't we do anything in Serbia? If the war is about weapons of mass destruction why aren't we in North Korea? They don't have vast oil fields is why.

If you agree to violence in any way shape or form you aren't reading your own book. Christ said turn the other cheek, Chist said love your enemy, he didn't say carpet bomb the middle east into the stone age. Christ was a pacifist, if he wasn't why did the son of god alllow himself to be nailed to a cross and then ask for them to all be forgiven. This is in your book, and has nothing at all to do with oil or war or stupid politics. In fact if you play Bingo at your church your pretty much a hypocrite, Jesus busted up money lenders and gambling tables in a church and that was the bit that lead to the whole crucifixion. He went nutty about people betting and banking inside the church.
Read your own bible
Read the Koran
Pretty much the same books and say the same thing.
Read news that isn't owned by the guy that runs Fox news.
