Thought I'd start this off tonight. If someone else has started a scoring thread, let me know! Haven't seen one yet.....

Wow, look at that.....someone actually came back to "revise" their scoring and take it down! Seems like "speed voters"!! :(

Good luck people!

If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one around to hear it, does it really fall?

(Thought the old thread was an "idea thread".....not a scoring thread. Do we usually use "idea threads" for scoring during a challenge? Or, did I miss the tree falling? ;))

No clue ... but the old "tree falls in the forest" cliche ... give me an eff'ing break. If the sun nova's ... you still here?

Is "eff'ing break" a Plato quote? Missed that one! *grin*

Plato was a rebel .. "eff'ing break" wasn't exactly the language his folks would have preferred.

Your turn ... sun, nova ... yada yada yada ..

If the sun went Nova....the least of our worries would be Plato!

I feel your pain. I may have put too much thought and effort into this one. Boy do I have a long way to go. Hopefully I get some comments.

I just dropped below a 6 and was quite upset, but looks like it is the NORM judging by everyones low score too.

Seems that the first voters are always the harshest - my score always improves between 50-100 votes and then levels out beyond that. I reckon it's the submitters of that challenge voting early (and being a bit harsher because they're comparing their entry with submitted entries) that cause this initial low streak, and then with a combination of realistic votes plus revised early overly harsh votes the average moves up.

If I haven't started with a 6 then I don't think I've ended with one :( Mine typically start about 5.5 and then bumble their way to 5.9 and then slide back to 5.7. The few 6s and 7s I've got have started at 6 and mostly gone up during voting.
