Great to meet you all yesterday.
Sorry I haven't had chance to post any shots yet, they will come later in the week. Mind you, I really only took a handful. There a lot of good ones there - thanks for sharing.

Got a few to go through will do it tonight, this is a nice one I found in the bunch, there are probably some with better expressions.
Had a brilliant day, shame about the weather (again), but was a great field test for the new camera (thank god for weather proofing!!). Really nice to meet some new people, and great to meet up with some of the older faces.
Looking forward to the next one, I think we said June, but if I remember  Judi is in town in May, but I think that may be a mid-week mini GTG, still up for the June one as well though.

I've got to say folk - there are some really good shot's coming out on this thread.
I may not have got any pictures from the day - but I had a great day and I got some chocolate from Melethia, so I've got no complaints :- ) |

Well . . . I think the main problem is that where it was raining all day I didn't actually get the camera out the bag. I can check and see if it went off in the bag if you want? ;- )
If it helps, I saw some really nice photo opportunities . . I just didn't take them.
Ok I know - I'm bad : (

Just looking through some more, and this one attracted my attention. It is not clear, it is blurry and not well lit, but there is something about it -
 motherlee walks thru, but the movement on the left looks really cool.
The Balloons for the St Patrick's Day Parade went over Admiralty Arch: and to the right of it  .
It's a wonder I didn't get questioned at least at Downing Street  ,
And finally a view of a pleasure boat beside Westminster Bridge  .

FOr those of you who didn't notice him walk straight past our group, this is Ken Livingstone, the current Mayor of London...
and heres another shot of him to show that he really does favor that coat..

Thanks for the welcome received from all the folk met up with on Sunday, especially Deb for inviting me along and Mark for leading. I've now registered, and also joined!
Pictures from the first half of the day (or so), from the Wheel to Lunch, are up in my Portfolio and more will be there soon.
I've kept the contrast and colour down to reflect the actuality of the day, one I'm sure we'll all recall fondly...
