The Brown Ribbonhogs will have a field day with this one.

It will be interesting to see both, the winning entries and the overall scores of this challenge. It kind of goes against the grain of what dpc usually votes high. If you're pulling a 5.8 after 100 votes, you might be in ribbon territory.

:)

I hate to give you good ideas, but... I just wonder

hmmmm!

I will bet anybody a beer that the winning shots have at least the subject in tac-sharp focus. I have no faith that the voters will give high votes to totally blurry shots, it's just TOO against the grain. I think it will be VERY challenging to figure out what will do well in this challenge. :-)

Of course I'm a week early, as usual:

can't disagree ... it's also pretty easy to predict the outcry after voting when people feel short changed getting beat by images that have something in focus.

I like the idea that it will take some out of their comfort zones, and will have others positively salivating to get out there and do what they really like to do. Make the most of it. Give it your best shot. Enjoy the process and try not to go overboard wondering what will score well (unless you're in the Enzo tournament, of course - then you have a problem...) :-)

I have a problem. ;) But the other problem is that it is so dull and grey out right now that the blurry images I tend to enjoy taking wont work. I love blurry color, but right now Ohio is seriously lacking in color. That and I do want a good score in case I make it past the next enzo tourney round. But to do that I must take out Scalvert. Wish this challenge came up a couple of months from now when spring colors hit.

This'll be a good one, but I hate having to choose between this one an "Pollution". I have good ideas for both.

My Bread Shot would have done well here

or at least not as poor! Its a terrible shot and I can't wait for the next voting cycle to end and knock this POS off of my profile.
