I have an Apple Cinema display at home and it looks pretty good on it, but looking at it on a crappy monitor at school under flourescent lights makes it a lot more mundane -- maybe I should preview all my shots here, heh. :) |
I had the same problem actually. I got a used DELL panel monitor and used it in sync with my MAC so I could see what the voters see.. makes a difference in your score here just don't use it if you are editing for print, use the MAC.

Yeah...I think they should have their own challenge for which the 'mood and context of the song' is noted in the challenge description. It is not for this one:

| I tried to do the mood and the title. Worked for at least one commenter. Thanks, Sandy! Still very happy with the shot - it's my desktop at work and I quite love it. Won't break any land speed records. Nor will it finish in the top 30. And Falc, I suspect you probably do have a ribbon. Just don't bitch about a 7+ score. You can bitch when it drops below 7, 'k? :-) |

Apparently, the number of views I've been getting means my image looks much better as a thumbnail! :(
Even those with a LOT higher scores than I have (read: almost all) don't have as many views, and considering I have 0 comments, I'm guessing I did something wrong.
*sigh... Hoping I'll have better luck with my next one! |
