Hi
I am interested in buying a drawing tablet, i have never used it but just saw on net. No one i know uses it, so not sure how right would it be for me and how to decide.

Main reason to buy is that i like to remove background from snaps, i know one can use PS and mouse, but not that good with mouse control.

To do some touching , if need to

Here are some samples of what i need to click
Sample 1

Sample 2

Sample 3

i like to have suggestion on what other other color for back drop would you suggest, i was thinking of going a lighter color

I purchased one at a computer show about 2 months ago, and after getting used to it, I think that it makes the digital experience much better by giving me better control. It also makes selections go much faster than using the mouse. It works great with Photoshop.

I bought a Wacom Intuos 2 about a month ago and it just makes life so much easier using PS then a mouse. You have much more control over a lot of the fine detail work needed. It took me about 2 days to get used to it.

I think you will need the Graphite version, under a $100.00, I paid $750.00 for mine, but has the PS menu on the tablet.

Try: www.wacom.com

I started out with a Graphire 2 4x5 tablet and it is wonderful - used it nearly every day. You can pick one of these up for well under $100.00. Intuos 2 4x5 is absolutely excellent also.
