If your 3 sample images you submit to iStock get rejected, are you able to submit three more without re-applying? Do you get a second chance to resubmit or is that it?
I just applied last night and submitted some textures/backgrounds/templates made in Photoshop, but I heard somewhere else that they're not too excited about those. I have sonme pictures of textures (leather, wood, grass, etc.) and also some vector art that I can submit as well in case those get rejected, but I wanted to ask if anyone here has had any experience in resubmitting those first sample images.

yeah, if you get rejected you can reapply
I believe the illustrator application and the photographer application are two different things - or like you apply for each individually inside your profile.

correct me if im wrong, but I think you can only apply 3 times.
Im not 100% sure on that, and am too lazy to look it up.
Remember that images submitted with the application, if accepted with application, need to be resubmitted for review. My application images got rejected when trying to add them to the portfolio, they are a bit more strict. In the application they are looking for composition, technique, etc. |
