A good photo will tell a story.

Yes, but many photos are simply of a landscape or of a boat. A photo story is more along the lines of photo journalism. Like an elderly, weathered fisherman standing by his boat. Too many photos rely upon the title to tell the story. This category should have no titles at all.

He's not very old and he's not a fisherman but he has got a boat. ;)

Hi Jon,

Like the boatman shot which I noticed earlier. This added to your Mundane shot (sheep) and Coniston water tells me the story that you had a nice mid-term holiday in the Lake District?

Seiously, a good idea for a challenge..

Thanks Andy - and I agree it would make a good, thoughtful challenge.

Yes, the Lakes were amazing - good weather too incredibly. Definitely did NOT want to come home to the Big Smoke!

Well Jon, you'll just have to get some top smoke photo's, huh?

S'pose you're right Ed - but if I have to walk past this just one more time I think I'll start dribbling! ;)
