My first high-key portrait!! I've put both the colour and b&w here. What do you think?

Thanks so much for those comments guys. Have to admit, I'm really proud of them! I'm definitely more of a people photographer than a places photographer and I think I've just proved this to myself!! LOL! |

Very impressive! Both of them have features I really like. Would you care to share your processing techniques for those of use that are photoshop-challenged? |

Well first it helps if you can shoot against a pale background. Then all I did was overexposed whilst processing the pic in raw which near enough blew out the background anyway. Played around with the colours a little, bringing down a lot of the pinks and oranges from the face but keeping and boosting the blues for the eyes...ie. the feature that I wanted to pop. No cropping as that is how it was taken. Any more questions, feel free to ask!! |

Not bad at all. I'm gonna jump on the B&W bandwagon too, I think it really looks good.

It's very rare that I say this, but I actually prefer the B&W, too! Very, very nice! |
