well, maybe not EVER, but I sure like her.
My birthday and Valentine's day are close enough together that my wife usually combines the 2 for presents. This year, my lovely wife got me an 85mm f/1.8 USM, 580 EX II, Lens hood for the 85 and the RC1 wireless remote....tripod will be here later today, a Slik U9000. I just got the camera in December and I'm well on my way to getting all the goodies for it!

I might have you beat.
In the past 6 months my wife let me buy:
1. Nikon's 70-200 f/2.8 VR
2. Nikon's 17-35 f/2.8
and just two days ago...
3. Nikon's 24-70 f/2.8
She even told me to order a Nikon D3.

yeah, you probably have me beat.
Other than those items that I just got, all I've gotten was the XTi and EF-S 17-85mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM for Christmas.
Pretty cool considering I'm a VERY new to all this |

awesome stuff ... i'm envious
i hope you have better luck with that rc-1 than i did ... the working range for the one i have is about 12 inches and it has to be directly in front of the camera |

i'm doing it the other way round
just put in the paper work for the D3 yesterday
/ Nikon Canada is still allocating slooowly based on some kind of priority system
waiting on the "trinity" of lenses for next year ;) (one mihgt argue i don't need more
(my wife grudging 'let me' order the D3)

Dont forget the beatings you got afterwards, those bruises were horrid man.. but it's worth it to have all that nice gear.. My wife just holds her hand out for the cash and says "don't even think about it" |

If she really loved you, She would have bought you Nikon Gear. lol only joking, nice score of toys. You have to make sure you get her something extra special for V-Day...
