Is applying a texture during pp allowed in a submission (basic? advanced?). Usually done as a new layer, derived from another image (the other image is one of bricks, or an old wall, or moss, or something like that). The texture which is overlayed can make a shot look "old" or something else, but doesn't add or remove "objects" from the shot (other than maybe "creaselines" if the texture is one of crinkled paper, for example).

Your image must consist of ONE original. (Unless its expert editing).

I wanted to used one in Advanced Editing...and it was just an overlay of concrete (no cracks...just texture) and it was advised that it would not be permissable....and yet I have seen others use even more intrusive texture overlays...and be passed for validation.

It is an iffy one and one that can only really be answered by SC....try the Contact Page with both your original and finished version.
