A. I want to be able to make images of hard drives to get laptops (or PCs) back to the point of imaging.

B. I'd like to span the image over sevral CDs / DVDs which I could boot from in the future for a restore.

C. I'd like to be able to image as many drives as I want without having to jump through licensing hoops every time. ie, I'll buy one license, then use the software on all my machines.

D. I'd like it if the software didn't try to do one hundred other tasks while making a cup of coffee for me. All I want is an image, not a "total backup solution".

E. I do not like bloatware like Norton. I've looked at Paragon and Acronis websites, and they look equally bloated.

F. I would love a one trick pony!

Any help?

The makers of Partition Magic also make a Disk Imaging application. I think Partition Magic also has some Disk Imaging capabilities.
