Hey all...the weekends are kind of difficult for me, so this is really my 'first' post in the challenge...my goal is to take more/better picstures of my family...

This is today...looks like it's warm out, sunny out, spring like out, but it's NOT, it's cold and just...COLD.

went up the mountain path,
for another shot of the protea
on the way down got offered a caterpillar as a snack!
the Mountain is part of the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens that I spend far too much time in photographing birds. |

Today I am running low on time :P I have work tonight so I'm using my self portrait for today as my slice of life ;)...
Working on tightening in my shot, working with DoF. (DoF was pp, not camera settings). I'm pretty happy with it :P
