Heh - if I were to get the EOS, it would be my third convertible if you count a Jeep Wrangler as a convertible. I've dealt with the poopy mess on more than one occasion! Convertibles are a wonderfully fun driving experience but quite often impractical. As my German neighbor told me (and I quote loosely and poorly!) das vetter ist nicht sehr gut fur cabrios. Or something along those lines. He may have a point that the weather here isn't the best for convertibles. :-)
Jeffrey and Steve, you guys are gonna finish in positions right next to each other! I'm gonna have to make popcorn for rollover... |

Do you only post your score when it's above average? All scores will tend to regress to the mean. Good scores will tend to drop over time and bad scores will tend to rise.
People who post a 4.5 on the thread may get the "good will" of this effect and imagine their score goes up every time they post because someone feels sorry for them.

One more person saw what I saw and some others saw. My bird shot will decorate my first page for a long time after challenge is over and it will stay there for people who could not see the beauty of the shot... those people will realized what have they done but it will be little too late. The beauty of the shot is not the bird exactly, I can't give more than that but I thank to those who have three eyes (two on their eye socket and one hidden behind their foreheads to see the art..) not everybody has that one extra eye to see better.
Score? I don't care, I know my bird shot is one of my best ever :/ |

Actually it starts with me even following the scores threads in the first place. I follow the scores threads only when I feel that my enty is competitive and I want a hint at how it will finish. Then, of course, I usually post my score.
What you said about regressing to the mean makes sense. Too much sense. You do this way too much ;)
Now...I am wondering if you have a shot in this challenge. Is it doing well? Are you and I going to have a replay of the Wildlife challenge?
