Nice score Rich - my guess is that the scores are at their typical day 1 lull right now. I bet the score will go up from here...

Yep, that's my usual bet, too. I certainly hope you're right, because I'm really eager to bump my current 5th-best off my profile. I'm very tired of looking at it. :)

I was annoyed earlier - but I remembered this is all about fun and I did have fun shooting the shot and enjoy the image for what it is...

Wooohoooo! I can't believe I am above 6!! While I know it certainly won't last, I am so enjoying this right now :D I took a chance with that shot as I was less then sure it was DPC friendly (and my daughter and husband disagreed with my choice). If this trend resists for more than a few hours, I might prove them wrong...

Thanks to scarbrd whom I met Saturday when we were both taking photos of ducks in Houston city park. I had not entered any challenges since Jan 2007 as I was bummed out with crappy scores. He told me the challenge was birds so I entered.

I recently had a long streak like that in December, including a 4.8. Those low scores on the "artistic" images helps you keep your street cred.
