Wow! That must be a very interesting image. Doncha just love middling scores with faves? Makes the whole score thing go away. :)

It started amazing and is slowly starting to go into the tank....if it freezes here I will be happy, but I am not counting on it. there is a ton of great shots in this challenge... I am going to go out on a limb and guess it will take a 7.3 to get any of the 3 ribbons. anyone else care to guess?

I agree with the 7.3 to ribbon, maybe higher. In the last 20 challenges only one challenge had a score that high. Yes, this will be a high scoring challenge. I knew that immediately upon looking through the entries.
It figures. Just like the last Wildlife challenge, I enter and everybody throws their best at me. |

I just counted 7 blue ribbons in the last 20 challenges that were over 7.3!!!!!

?????? Oooops! You're right. I don't know what I was looking at about an hour ago then.
edit to add O.K., I figured it out. My score was pretty high awhile ago and I was comparing it to the high scores in the last 20 challenges. There was only one higher. Things look a little different now.

| I had a 5.5 with 2 votes, then with 4 votes... but I suspect (since I turned scores back off) that it's falling nicely at this point along with the rest of you. Ah well. I'm still good with it. |

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this. The first 10 or so votes averaged over 7, but then dropped pretty quick after that. But still, I'll take where it's at now -- and I'm not even completely pleased with my shot & pp. Too many little flaws. Rush job. |
