this was my alternate. i had a hard time deciding.



this was my first which (fortunately) i was talked out of :D

This was my first try, then I realized that the vignetting slider in ACR is banned under basic editing rules. Without it, the image looked a bit flat, so I then tried reshooting with a larger aperture to get optical vignetting (I had one lens stacked backwards on top of another one). Larger aperture, however, meant less DOF, so I opted for a completely different composition.

I enterd the Abandoned buildings instead, but here was what I wanted to enter the

I entered abandoned buildings as well. This would have been my Yellow entry had i chosed to go that way.

is it just a coincidence there was a yellow car with a yellow garage? did you plant that boy walking or did you sit and wait for someone to walk past?

I figured this one was too "in your face"


The colour was a little weird :)
