I made my first sale at Photographers Direct, since abandoning microstock :-)

Lug Nut, which I shot specifically to fill a photo request, is going to be in a book titled Guard Dogs, which will be a 400,000 run in India :-D

I worked 5 minute for this shot... Lug Nut worked a little longer, but he enjoys barking. We negotiated $80 for this run.

And you checked the withholding tax on royalties payable to foreign nationals, did you? 10% in Japan, 14.5% in China, 20% in Taiwan, what % in India? not to mention wire transfer fees.

But they always send thousands over the amount on the transfer so there should be lots of money left to pay any fee. ;D

And don't let his size fool you. Inside that body lurks the heart of a lion, the firosity of a tigar... and unfortunately, the brain of a squirel. We have one too. And he has at least 5 rats to his credit. LOL!

What do they say about owners matching their pets?

Congrats on the commission. Yes, dachshaunds (sp?) can be fierce, and I think you captured that in this photo, Leroy.
