This sounds great. I used to use Photomatix a lot, but when I went to the 40D it has not played well with my files. Everything comes our RED. So I will deifnately PM you for the link.

Send a PM. Thanks for sharing.

If I havent replied yet its because I am at work, will PM everyone who has contacted me later on today (GMT) and send them the link.

On the PM, I will send a link for a google group it would be great if you could join so you can post your wishlists and any bugs you find.. The developers are incredibly quick to respond to requests and any bugs, only yesterday 2 builds were released as they squashed a couple of bugs we found in the first release.

Yay! I have been getting frustrated with Photomatix lately. I seem to have to trade improved tonal range for what I couldn't previously describe.... 'muddy' images.

PM sent. Thanks.

I'm an early Beta Tester on this one also. Unless something has happened I'm unaware of, it's windows only right now.

"Wukong" I might guess - though without the Chinese characters could well be wrong - refers to monkey, as in monkey king.

Robert is correct, only windows at the moment.. Not sure when Mac/Linux version will follow.

OK< starting to send the links out now, will take a while what with 90 PMs received so far..

Thanks Mark!

Wow - you weren't kidding... that's LIGHTNING fast! Holy Shmoley :O)
Pretty cool results messing around with the "Detail Revealer" in Tone Mapping.

Impressive on first pass, will have to play around with it later.
Thanks again for sharing this.

Yes, it is super fast. It lacks the deep level of control that Photomatix has, thus far in development, but it seems to create fewer haloing artifacts and it works better in not producing weirdness in smooth-toned, bright areas.

A few notes about Wukong..

Wukong will give you great looking HDR images, don't expect the cartoony looking HDR of photomatix. As Rob says it doesnt have the full suite of adjustments there yet, but this is still early beta, nowhere near the finished article.. LOL, I remember when it was literally just a Windows box and nothing else (apart from some REALLY weird output). Its moved on a lot since then. Some of the plans they have for this software and future products are pretty awesome.
