If it uses our all time averages rather than a smaller more recent sample, which would be far more accurate, it won't reward the most improved. This is what happened in the old WPL when an already great (by DPC standards) Joey Lawrence won most improved even though all he did was perform at the same level he had been prior to the WPL but because of his low overall average 5.7 currently, he won it. Such a player can keep winning it every year without any improvement in this kind of format. Overall average is a very poor indicator of current ability and performance.

Congrates guys I think anybody who averages more 6 in free study is heck of a photographer.
(I am not sure if I am even close to these people).
