It's funny that you say that Robert. I always joke w/ my wife that if we won the lottery I would have a new pair of Gold Toe socks everyday for the rest of my life, I love new socks. I heard that Wayne Newton actually does wear a new pair of socks everyday and donates the once worn socks to charity.

You, me, and Wayne Newton have something in common then. I just bought my first new socks in 2 years, and some new, fur-lined moccys, and I am in heaven. Or my feet are anyway...

Funny how everyone else is going WAY off topic here LOL.

Sorry ... I thought that the topic was in the title ... not the extension of the title in the body of the post.

... One might assume that you were simply inviting people to finish the sentence, "There are very few things in life more ... "

I hate new socks! I inevitably end up on my ass on the kitchen floor because they're so slippery when they're new! :D

Edit: to fit in with both interpretations of the topic

... uncomfortable (in many ways) than a visit to the proctologist.

I hate new socks because undoubtedly I'll end up with new sock fuzzies stuck between my toes for the first 5 washings.

... frustrating than looking for a job.
