| OK, 16th March it is then. Thats final. We will make it an early start so we can fit a lot in.. hopefully the weather will be better this time, and fingers crossed I'll have my 1d mk3 by then! woohoo!! |

Well, if we finish up in Parliament Sq (as per the rough route planned) there is a watering hole there that in the week is frequented by journalists and the odd politician (lol, they are all odd in a way I guess), however at weekends it is the domain of the tourist! |

I'll probably come by bus and arrive at the Victoria Coach station. Although I'm not sure, after the aggressive way me and my camera bag got treated by the National Express driver on my way from Ebbsfleet to Canterbury. We'll see what they answer to my letter.

For some reason I think the train from Canterbury travels through tonbridge where I get on...was hoping I could have a friendly face for most of the journey...and someone to hobble from the station with ;o) Keep us posted on the National Express complaint! :o) |

Just been checking the train timetables and we can get the 8.25 train that arrives in Waterloo at 9.23, that should give us time to get to the meet-up point. I think for Mike, it leaves Reading at 7.55 approximately.
I would like to meet up with Mike on the same train, would give us someone to chat to on the way up to London.
Oh! Yes...I have just got a couple of extra batteries and 2 more CF cards, just for this meeting!!

Sunday trains from my station are not good ! First one to run is 09:01
I am also looking at going down Saturday and staying overnight in a Hotel near the Eye, that would be easier.

LOL...I think it's safe to say I'll be in hiding once the Olympic 'thing' is all over!
