Since the deadline is listed incorrectly on the front page, I wanted to prominently call everyone's attention to the fact that "Stupid Gifts" (Challenge 793) is a 48-hour challenge ending running from 25-December to 26-December. Langdon will undoubtedly correct this in the morning, but I don't want anyone to get caught off-guard by the change.

Happy shooting!

Gee, I already entered what I will be giving my sister in law into the Ebay challenge. It's pretty stupid.

Now I'm hoping someone gives me a really bad gift this year, so I'll probably get lots of cool stuff that I really want.

Anyone receiving a Nikon as a gift would fit this challenge, yes? ;-)

Just joking around...Happy Holidays to all camera owners, regardless of brand!! :-)

I guess the only stupid present I received was from my sister, volume 2 of a DVD of a TV comedy show. She gave me the first voume in July when I was visiting. The thing is, the DVDs are Region 4, which means I can't watch them when I get back to Japan...
I defy anyone to enter that in this Challenge in a meaningful way ... ;-)

Yeah, you could have a Japanese composition and show a Region 4 DVD. The problem is that most folks wouldn't "get it". :-(

BUMP for the others who thought they had a 4 day 48-hour challenge ahead.

I am bummed...I will be seeing my brother on New Years Eve to exchange gifts and he ALWAYS gives me something off the wall. Last year... Chrome plated Great Dane poop! He has 2 of them (Danes) and believe me... they are...were?...full of the stuff!

Edited to correct my own misconception
