I'll just keep posting till someone gets sick of my suggestions lol.

There's is something odd and interesting about this one:

Ooops - for this one, I think people forgot the kinds of games kids play when they actually go outside...

For the craftiness...

Michelle, I'm going to have to name you my Nominator in Chief! You and I seem to be the only ones keeping this thing going. :)

Thanks for the nod, by the way.

I would like to make two nominations for Yappies this month, JulietNN and timwest167. Both have been commenting widely and take the time to really look at photos. Juliet left me a really useful comment on my FS entry (still in voting, of course) that I can certainly learn from.

I want to second this one - pretty brilliant and wildly underappreciated. Definitely a creative take on Games.

I'd like to nominate:

Also just wanted to give this guy props- I was going through his recent photos- there is no way this one deserves a 5.9x score. What happened to our scoring. This would have easily been a low to mid six a few months ago. Why so low?

My first thought on this one too...

...it's very simple and stock photo-ish. Nicely done, but still very DPC friendly.

The textures, the lines, the solidarity of the tree, the reflecting waters.. To me, this is not a typical landscape. It seems to engulf all the elements of nature in one photo. But I do understand that it is all in the eye of the beholder. Maybe I've just been away for awhile and this one caught my eye. Not sure, But I like it.

Time to nominate Quiet_observation again for an OOBIE.

This is a portrait of a whole segment of the American population rather than an individual.

Notice how the facade (get it?) looks like a mask. It's Out Of the Box, clearly meets the challenge, and got a brown ribbon: the ultimate OOBIE combo!

Sorry, I am all for OOBIE nominations but how can you say this "clearly meets the challenge" when the challenge description read:

We're talking about physical masks here, things people put on (or paint on) to hide some or all of their faces. They can be elaborate, even baroque, or they can be simple and clean. Find or create a mask, and photograph someone wearing it this week.
