Okay, so Lee( lkn4truth) and I Judi) have been talking and have decided to revamp the DPC Podcast. What we have decided to include is a guest photographer to speak about the subject at hand, Questions recorded from any members on DPC, shorter broadcasts every fortnight as well as a few other fun inputs.

What we need from you are suggestions of the following -

- Who do you want to be interviewed?
- What subjects would you like to hear about?
- And would you like to jump onto the podcasts for a question or quotation of the day?
- Any other input?

We use Skype to record these sessions...but if you don't have that facility you can email us your Questions to be read out on the podcast.

We also need a place to store the podcasts? Can anyone help us there?

Did we mention these were going to be shorter? No more 1-2 hour marathons, I promise! Quick and dirty podcasts are coming your way!

Dirty?? Who, what?

No seriously...the first one will be a bit of a Christmas Party theme. We would like 5 or 6 members to be available to jump online and record a few minutes.

Who wants to be a part of the fun?

Veteran DPC'ers, professional and semi-professional photographers, people who purchase photographic art and/or display it in galleries, people who successfully sell or make money off their photography and/or have their own business...

Photography tips, trends in photography, mounting, framing, opinions on photos and hardware, software, cameras, lenses, lights, gadgets, websites, silly stories that will make us laugh...

Just a few ideas... :)

I am a little too shy to be part of a podcast and don't have much experience to offer any input, but I love to listen to them!!

This idea sounds wonderful and I am glad that you two are involved! It should be VERY interesting! :)

Lee/Judi,
If you guys are in need of hosting again, I can hook you up so long as someone is able to manage the site. I can help, but time is limited.

This is good news! I always enjoyed the podcasts as well.

I also heard a rumor about a DPC documentary by Werner Herzog and filmed in IMAX 3D. :)

Glad to hear you're bringing this back! I thought there was some talk of the podcasts being available with iTunes before, though I never seemed to get that part to work. It would be great to have it available through there though!

Looking forward to hearing what you come up with! :)

I have no clue why we couldn't get the iTunes thing figured out other than my focus in the past was on producing the show and editing and by the time I was done with that, the idea of figuring out the technical reasons why something isn't working the way it should was just too much. I'm using a newer version of the software I used to use so maybe we'll get lucky and everything will just work.

Okay...just an update. Plans are moving along really well. Fingers crossed, we will start recording this week. What we want to know are any ideas for a new name for the podcast programme.

We have one in mind at the moment but we are eager to hear your suggestions.

Also...any more suggestions for people you would like to hear on the show?

I believe he is on the old podcasts, quite a lengthy interview if you care to hunt them down..
