Semi-Annual 30 (or so) Day SP Side Challenge?

At this stage I'd like to join. Does it matter if I miss a few days along the way. Maybe I'm not that good at time management or something but I blame the 19th month old ;)

Anyway, I didn't enter the recent SP challenge and I wish I had. If that sounds ok to you then count me in!

You're in Nuzzer. Don't sweat missing a day here & there. Like I said, I only made it to 21 in the last one.

Themes....

Single Light (can be anything as long as there is only one light source)

Firelight (Can only shoot by the light of a flame {Any kind of flame but not 'flamer' thats cheating})

Red (red cloths, red lighting, red paint, red is the primary colour){can be substituted for teal, mauv, periwinkle or whatever, just choose a single colour)

Mud, Dirty, (anything that is Messy)

Outdoors (In the Rain, Wind, Snow, Sun, Sand whatever is outdoors, shoot there)

State Pride (Anything to do with where you live, most importantly particularly what you can find where you live that is not common in most places.)

Love (February is the month for that sort of thing, so dedicate your SP to all things that mean it for you. {keep it mostly clean})

Reflective Personality (You can only shoot your portraits by reflection, mirror, water, glass, polished steel chrome, what have you. No direct images)

Cross Dressing ( For those more daring, you can only shoot as the opposite sex)

Rooms (Shoot in a different room every day. No duplicate rooms, and Yes, the Library would count as well as a Jail Cell and court room. As long as there are at least a roof it is considered a room. so, an Umbrella could be a room, but you better be creative with it.)

ok, there are some inexpensive themes a person could shoot. All of them can be done created with no cost and no knowledge of photoshop. For those whom want more daring ideas, let me know budgets and/or levels of photoshop you want to exploit and I will offer more ideas.

So far I am kicking around the idea of cross dressing and shooting my reflection outside by firelight. LOL

How would this work? Do you mean to say that someone would have to take a picture of themself every day?

Yes. We do a self portrait a day for the entire month :) It is quite the learning experience :)

I had an idea for anyone not sure of an idea for self-portraits. It follows along the lines of one I did for my 50 Days project back in August, which was inspired by a series in Vanity Fair magazine. It's called In Character.

You could ask for suggestions, then others will give you a scenario to pose in character. ;-Þ
