Great, thanks moondog! The streets you gave me are in Denmark, not Sweden, but still only an hour or so away. Maybe I can meet up with  GuGi as a bonus. Will try to get over there this weekend. |

Show us some island life on Ogasawara Islands, which are part of Tokyo.

Actually, show us some "unspoilt" Tokyo of the Yanaka district; get there from Nippori Station or up from Ueno Park. (Unspoilt because it wasn't affected by the Kanto earthquake or bombing.) |

Edited to add details.
Location: Central western NJ (Pennington to be exact). Near Trenton, Princeton, Flemington, Delaware River. And just four miles from the Delaware River which separates NJ and PA. Close to the area where George Washington did his famous Christmas Day attack on the Hessians.

Now this is a fun thread, I only just came across it, but would be interested. I am travelling overseas currently, but back in my hometown on Sunday December 2nd.
I live in Tampere, Finland and would be interested in an assignment. However, I rely on Public transport, so can't necessarily go too far afield.

Maybe you could set up a system whereby you have each person provide an assignment to whoever is immediately above them on the list, and this could apply to future participants as well. This way it will be lower maintenance for you and in addition speed up the assigning process. (I assume you are working on mine, since you took me off this list.) |
