Over all I'm very happy with this camera so let me be the first to post some images from it here. A couple of my Daughter and Grandson and a couple from Uptown Charlotte, NC

Thanks all for having a look.

would be interesting to see the original, unedited pics.
i'd also like to see iso 400-1600 shots and 100% crops of those, because in that high iso range olympus usually had the biggest issues.
looks like an awesome camera from what i've seen so far, congrats! :)

Also interested in that camera as an upgrade to my E-300. I love that camera but it has fairly slow autofocus and ISO 800-1600 is pratically unusable.

I be curious to hear your impressions of the camera.

I disagree with this statement. When I had my E-1 and E300 a properly exposed ISO 1600 shot was very usable. I even have a few shots taken at 1600 that have printed 16x20 hanging in clients walls.

Hmm, I've had a few ISO1600 pictures turn out when properly exposed but more often than not when using ISO1600 in a dark low lighting enviroment the sensor noise is quite a bit at 100% crop. This is fairly typical for the CCD 4/3 sensor in the E-300, at least most of the samples that I have seen. I guess I should say I would like to see examples of the E-3 at ISO 1600 in a dimly light environment. :)

I can't speak for the E-1 since I only have the E-300.

This is printed at 16x20 for the customer and is hanging on his den. Granted thats 800 ISO from the E300, but there are plenty of shadows there to draw from. I am not sure I can dig up the original anymore or even any of my E300 or E1 original files but I'm sure if I needed to dig far enough I could. The only reason that I moved into another system beyond not being able to afford a 300MM lens from Olympus.

How about at 3200iso? Untouched, not a great photo by any means, but you get the point:

Ya Tom this is the camera I have been waiting for along time! I can't beleive how well it all works. Still learning and testing stuff, its a complex camera, with lots of features. Great pics BTW!

The best thing to do is drop over to dpreview and check out the Oly SLR talk. Lots of samples, ask quesions and get answers.
