Yeah right...nice people. Would have been nice to give her at least 2 or 3 pictures back then. C'mon, I am sure they were not that expensive for the photographer. Waiting 27 years, that's long...he felt guilty seeing those pictures or what?

Anyway, as they say....better late than never.

So this couple hired a photographer, and then never showed up to pay him.
He didnt have to do this, but was being the 'bigger' person

wow..I thought there was kindness shown on both sides..sorry forgot good is a "judgemental" subject also...grrrr at negative folks,,,,dang

edit to insert comment...pondering this, I'd think the photographer AND the couple after 27 years are greatful they are still alive, happy that someone didn't just ditch the pics to garbage, etc etc...story didn't say either/both parties woke up on wrong side of bed, chose to be negative, and well grrrrr for your negativity and judgemental thoughts...

happy hearts and positive/good/proactive thoughts help the world be a better place..believe it or not...

good for EVERYONE - the photog, for caring enough to track her down & give. the customer, for being grateful / gracious enough to honor their original agreement. Can't people around here just be HAPPY for other people??? sheesh....

eta - thank you for sharing this, Sonya!

In the story they don't say that they hired the photographer and then they didn't pay for him. They mention the bride looking at her own pictures, but couldn't aford to pay 150$ to have them printed for helself. So as I see it, she just couldn't aford the printing of the pictures. Now, how could he not print 2 or 3 for her?
If I missunderstood, then I might be wrong.

Oh, msdoubletrouble I am not sure if you were telling me to see the bright side of things and be positive and ... " well grrrrr for your negativity and judgemental thoughts..."
". I am positive and all I have to say is that I would have given the lady 2 or 3 pictures 27 years ago! payed or not payed!

edit to add: I am happy for her!

Thumbs up! It's a good story with a happy ending for everyone. I hope that I still have some unpaid jobs when I turn 80. : )
