I currently have all the photos I need and have sent out all of the PMs (I think) that need to be sent.

If I did not choose one of your photos, it's not because I feel your photography is poor or unworthy; just that I already had images like the ones you have available or your photos just didn't suit the subject matter; but thank you all so much for your approval and your generosity.

It means more to me then you know.

Love,
Stephanie

Congrats to thoese who have an image that can help Steph and to thoese who allowed her to take a look see, you are awsome. This kind of support for a fellow DPCer in need and the response that she received is a wonderful testament to the fantastic community that DPC is.

All the best to everyone and to Steph I hope you can find all that you need from thoese who have lent you a hand here. The very best of luck with your project.

MAX!

Not to worry - This is not a war piece, or an anti-Bush piece, or anything of that sort. I do have strong opinions on that matter, but it is not for these boards and your photography is not being used in that light.

& Thanks. :)

Stephanie,
Yes you may use my photo "Pvt. Cruz Leads The Parade" as you have asked ... only if it is used in respect to the military, heros and their patriotic belief in protection of our great country and following the orders of their military officers. If it is anything to oppose the military, it's leadership, it's mission and it's code of ethics or to be used as any kind of anti-war, anti-patriotic then no. I hope you can use it in a positive manner, these brave soldiers died believing in America and they need to be remembered as such. Best of luck and looking forward to seeing the final project.

STUNNED... absolutely stunned that you would even consider any of my images worthy of consideration.

I would also like to echo the sentiments expressed by NikonJeb... it is true that at times we as a collective tend to bicker about trivial matters, but in a pinch you can readily count on the support of the DPC community.

The very best of luck in your endeavours.

Ray

Got your PM as well and sent a reply.

I feel special considering the amount and range of your field of choices.

Thanks, and best of luck with your grade!

I'd just like to state for the record that I wasn't the least bit surprised to see the massive outpouring of generosity having been here for long enough to have seen everything from rides to the hospital to gift memberships being freely given from one DPCer to another.

I've listened/watched members rally around for everything like their child's first portrait to reverent condolences on the death of a family member.

Yeah, we snipe at each other on the stupid stuff like the challenge details, but when it comes to real life, you guys all shine!

Steph, you've just been witness, not too shabby, huh?

Actually, I didn't. I expected responses along the lines of..."thank you for asking, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't...." yadda.

I'm shocked. Pleasingly so.

Update: I'm 4 minutes and 20 seconds into the 6+ minute song. It took me 5 hours to do 3.5 minutes of the song last night.
I should finish the basic laying of the tracks/video/photos tonight, and hopefully will complete the effects and final product by Monday.

I doubt I have anything of interest to you but take a look if you want. I just wanted to say that this thread has really heightened my respect for this site and its members, big and small.
