I like the clean look of your page. It makes me want to revamp mine as well. But I have put so much work into making it look ok that I hate to go through that hassle again.

Not bad... does the job. Maybe renaming some of the pictures would help and changing the background colour on the galleries? since you use white frames, a black background would make it look better in my eyes, but it works. I'd maybe make the menu options at the top stand out a bit more and I did notice it said 2008 in the corner, which made me doubt my sanity.

Simple thing: On the "Services" page, make the list uniform. The spacing between the things differs - retouching, images, and setting are spaced semi-evenly, and then the next bunch are grouped together.

dude,

just remember, you asked for the butcher (I'm seriously trying to help so don't take anything personally)

- I'm not sure why you have 2008 listed across the top; even if it were 2008, I'm pretty sure there are better sites to keep tabs on those things
- most clients probably don't care that you use Adobe photoshop or aperture. they only care that the image is aesthetically pleasing. advertising that you use that software on the first page isn't necessary
- do you have better photos to put on the page? they seem a bit all-over-the-place. are you a commercial photographer or do you sell greeting cards or portraits? you need some focus on what business needs you're meeting
- you have Brooks photography at the top, and then another logo at the middle-right; do you really need this? if so, can you make the logo something more than simple text? if you do imaging, perhaps you should have a nicer logo?
- the photo of the bench is nice
- get rid of the Made on a Mac logo, it gives the impression that you are too cheap to have a professional website developed to support your business.
- your guarantee section sounds cheesy and when I read it carefully doesn't really guarantee much; what is the best image possible? the best image you're capable of. so how am I satisfied if your best isn't up to your customers' standards?
- try not to make links that say "clicking here", instead try to incorporate it into a sentence; ie: get rid of that sentence and add a link into the top nav bar
- you need more text so that i know what services you provide; what's your specialty? other than taking photos
- you need to display more photos that show your style; the 3 you have on the front page don't flow
-some of the links dont work
- the layout is a bit 'dated'
- dont make the blog link open in a new window, that's annoying

there are more; but I'm sure you can find a site on google on the do's and donts of creating a webpage.

once again, not trying to be mean, but if you're trying to generate business with this, you might actually be pushing it away.

No Offence taken from the above.
The "Made on a Mac" is being removed.
The 2008 will also be removed. Iweb template thing.

The other stuff i will be looking at and seeing if i can change.

you have Brooks photography at the top, and then another logo at the middle-right; do you really need this? if so, can you make the logo something more than simple text? if you do imaging, perhaps you should have a nicer logo?
where is this. all i see is Brooks Photography on the left in script and then the date on the right?

cheers for the feedback.

We aim to provide you,our customer, with the best in photography. We know that an image can be one of the most important factors in your business' needs and as such we will aim to provide you with the best image possible, 100% of the time.

Or maybe just shoot for something a little more eloquent.

Get rid of all the drop-shadows, that looks amateurish. Re-work that logo, script-style fonts are a bad, bad choice for banners.
