What makes you think the commenters *didn't* give their honest opinion of the shot?

Troy, you need to tread very lightly here. If this thread degenerates into more name calling, it will be locked immediately.

Honest comments are great, even the negative ones, but some are worded better than others.

For example, I don't think it is necessary to tell someone their image is a waste of server space. I think it is more useful to just stick to the aspects that are negative (real or perceived).

When making comments relative to the photographic abilities of others, there does exist a requirement for one to display a modicum of civility and decorum... something which seems wanting in some of the gems you have left to date.

There is little to be gained by attacking the individual and making disparaging remarks about the images being proffered. At best what you have done is managed to antagonize the photographer.

I for one readily welcome constructive criticism, but the banalities you have uttered to date on this image seem more a display of your character than the true value of the photo.

Sometimes, and this may or may not be the case, people find themselves victims of their own reputations that they have so carefully cultivated. Perhaps this is the case?

The pose looks somewhat contrived. The hand on the lower back in the lower left of the picture and the hand in the foreground. The right side shoulder/lower back as well as the background in this area looks to be a bit bright but it seems to be limited thus not a huge distraction in the overall image. Neither girl is overly attractive, but the pose and attire tend to put a different spin on the perception...suggestive, teasing, taunting...

The copyright is not too bad, yet a tad too large. The format is not distractive nor intrusive (on this particular image) but does seem to be a bit large. Maybe smaller font size?

And THAT is how you give a critique.
