I am looking to shoot small parties and gatherings of family events. Weddings. What lens would you reccommend? Any Suggestions? I have a 50mm 1.4, and the 17-55, but I am looking to play with something else.. Any suggestions.

Something fast so f2.8 is a must I would say.
I don't think you'll need a massive zoom range really.
But most importantly, whats your budget?

Canon 10-22 - I was amazed with the possibilities for something this wide once I got it.
Sigma 30mm - I am going to swap my 50f1.4 for this as it's just that bit wider and just as fast.
Canon 24-105 - For weddings and flash I would thing this would be a great lens. or the Canon 24-70 if you want a bit faster foe weddings.
